Discover the culinary side of Bergün Filisur at the Swiss Tavolata or at the Kesch hut SAC at 2,625 metres above sea level.
Treat yourself to some great home cooking from our local farmhouses!
The Swiss Tavolata is based on the success of the TV show Landfrauenküche.
Migga Falett won the first series of the TV show in 2007 and has been part of the Swiss Tavolata ever since.
The women farmers and countrywomen of the Swiss Tavolata serve home-made dishes prepared with local produce to guests from Switzerland and abroad.
For the Swiss Tavolata, Switzerland is divided up into five regions, each headed up by its own director, with our very own Migga Falett in charge of the region of eastern Switzerland and Ticino.
Together with the region’s other hosts, the regional director co-ordinates the menu, provides information about the terms and conditions, and is the direct contact.
Interested? Then let Migga Falett spoil you!
Full details of the Swiss Tavolata are available here.
Welcome to a culinary experience at 2,625 m above sea level.
A small daytime menu with a hearty mountain-hut soup, rösti, various salsiz sausages, alpine cheeses from the Alp digl Chant, home-made nut tortes, Linzer torte, and other delicious cakes!
Every evening we serve our half-board guests a freshly prepared dinner consisting of soup, salad or vegetables, main course, and dessert.
We are committed to regionally sourced produce, and so we get our salsiz sausages made of beef, venison, chamois or ibex meat from the butcher Erwin Eggenberger in Filisur, our alpine cheeses from the Alp digl Chant dairy in Bergün, our eggs from the Plaschair farm, and our bread from the Preisig bakery in Bergün.
We have also been known to divulge one or two secrets of our mountain hut cuisine on our blog, which you will find here!
