Take a look behind the massive doors of the Evangelical Church in Bergün and discover the many details in the pictures. You also have the opportunity to talk to church members.
The church was first mentioned in documents in 1188. In pre-reformation period (about 1500) was a late Gothic conversion. At that time the cycle of frescoes was also created by an Italian painter, i.a. with motifs of the Passion of Jesus Christ.
A look up to the decorated with carving skill blanket is also worthwhile. Diverse stencil paintings adorn the wood.
The pulpit and gallery are from the first half of the 18th century, the organ with a mechanical movement and a pine case from 1979.
Normally, the church can only be visited during the day through the gallery.
On Wednesday afternoon the main entrance is open. You have the opportunity to talk to church members and to discover many details in the meaningful pictures.
