Powerful, intense; Eva Wey's violin playing has many facets. Together with the fellow musicians, the current program will be presented under the category: Alpine Folk Music.
A basic stock of the current repertoire is based on the collection "Old Schwyz Violin Dances", which was handed down by Anton Hotz around 1830. A true Swiss musical treasure opens up: with a total of 101 dances, the collection is one of the oldest and most productive folk music collections in Switzerland at that time.
