Frog or toad? - Amphibians in the Albula Valley

After a short introduction by Parc Ela head of operations Dino Augustin, you will dive into the twilight, equipped with a headlamp and/or flashlight, in search of frogs, toads and newts. During the tour of the Alvaneu golf course (approx. 3 km) you will not only learn what distinguishes the common toad from the grass frog and why the ponds on the golf course are so important for the amphibian populations in the Albula Valley, you will also learn at the amphibian fence how and when the animals move between their land and water habitats and what risks lurk for them there. By the way, drizzle is no reason to miss the excursion, it is even ideal conditions for observing the amphibians.
