The small village Jenisberg lies at the foot of the Muchetta at 1504 m above sea level above the left slope of the Landwasser valley. Jenisberg can be reached by car or on foot on a narrow and steep, unpaved mountain road from the station Wiesen.

Description

The village picture is characterized by the walser architectural style. The walser village with the small chapel is located high on a mountain meadow which is surrounded by a large forest area and from which offers a panoramic view of the Landwasser. In the restaurant Gässälibeiz you can enjoy local specialities such as pizzokels, barley soup from Grisons barley, salsiz and cheese, sausage and fine homemade cakes in a cosy atmosphere.
