Description

Ideally you start the Albula Haute Route in Crappa Naira. Here there is a post bus stop that is easily accessible from Davos or Lenzerheide. Now we immediately start the ascent, which initially leads over a small forest road, but then becomes steeper and steeper. After Alp Pigni, only the very strong ones still drive, others occasionally push a few metres. Below Propissi turn right and head for the first single trail at Ruoinas. At the Plaun Crappa Naira it goes up again a bit to reach the Alpsiedlung Aclas Dafora on a next trail. Climb up in the direction of Alp da Creusch, half way turn right onto a singletrail. This is initially narrow, but then becomes wider and more fun. At a creek, some meters have to be pushed before it finds its continuation as a fun trail. At Ragleuna there is a short push passage, to get later on a single trail to the Schmittner and the Wiesner Alp. Now comes the highlight of the day: the descent into the Platschtobel and on via Bärentritt to Wiesen Station. The singletrail firework never ends, the route now leads along the river Landwasser to the famous railway viaduct near Filisur. Take the train back to Davos or follow the mountain bike route to Tiefencastel and from there take the Postbus back to Lenzerheide.

HOME OF TRAILS

By the way: At Wiesen railway station you will find the famous bridge from the video "Home of Trails", where Danny MacAskill balances on the terrain wall above a 84-metre-deep abyss.
