Starting October 10, 2025, the road to Val Tuors will be partially closed. Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Alpin bus, pedestrians, cyclists, and scooter riders will be able to pass through the construction site. Normal traffic will only be able to enter Val Tuors before 7:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. and after 5:00 p.m.

Preda is located at about 1800 m above sea level on the west portal of the Albula tunnel. Here ends the famous Albula line, part of the UNESCO route with its famous spiral tunnels and viaducts.

Description

Preda also includes the small village Naz which is now used primarily as a holiday resort. Despite not even 10 inhabitants in Preda, the settlement has a lot to offer to the guest. A hotel with a restaurant, a pension, various apartments and train connections with stops every hour towards Engadine and Chur and the start of the famous sledge run Preda - Bergün.
